- Selecting and managing DOS file directories:
-
- You may wish to organize capture and setup information
- into multiple DOS directories. The Make Directory
- option permits you to create additional directories by
- adding a 1 to 8 character name to the proposed path.
-
- By using the Change path option you can make any
- directory you wish be the default for further loads or
- saves. This is also a way to change to drive A: if you
- wish to load or save to floppy diskette. You may also
- always change a proposed path, including the drive, by
- backspacing and typing over the default.
-
- Navigating in subdirectories by scrolling:
-
- Whenever you ask to load a file, you are presented with
- an alphabetically sorted list of potential file names
- and DOS subdirectories. By scrolling with the arrow
- keys, or pressing the first letter of the line of
- interest, you can move the highlite bar. Pressing
- enter will cause a file to be loaded, or if a directory
- was chosen, will make that directory the new default.
- The special entry ".." means "my parent directory" and
- can be used to go up towards the root directory.
